What decides how far we can travel
Coverage can depend on the type and timing of care as well as location. Four things shape whether we can arrange the visits somebody needs, and distance is only one of them.
How long the visit is
A half-hour call and a two-hour visit do not reach the same distance. Travel time between people has to fit around the care itself, or the visits start running late.
How often care is needed
Four visits a day is a different journey from one visit a week. Regular daily care usually needs to be closer to our office or to a carer already working nearby.
Whether the care is live-in
Live-in care reaches further than hourly visits, because the carer is not travelling between calls. Distance matters much less when somebody is staying in the home.
Who is already working near you
We build a small, familiar team around each person. If we already support someone in your street or your area, we can usually arrange care more easily and start sooner.
If we cannot reach you, we will say so plainly rather than take an enquiry we cannot fulfil. Where we can, we will tell you what the visits would look like.
